Womb Pirate Radio 107.1
May 17th, 1999

It was sometime in 1999 when we started a radio show at the WOMB 107.1 FM It was a pirate station in South Beach that blasted the beach with some great underground tonnage. I distinctly remember walking down Collins and you’d hear virtually every shop bangin the station all the time, and at the beginning, it was so tied with the clubs and parties on the beach that you could find out about new events all the time. It was fun, but almost too serious. We used to make fun of this flyer… Got tons of schoolboy mileage out of the part that says “WOMB=Fresh Emissions”… We’d joke about the number of “fresh emissions” that would get ripped in the studio on average per day… Miami fried foods + 24 hr djs, thats a fresh emission not for broadcasting!!! hahahaha…
